Phillip Coonley, CSUEU Chief of Staff, has filed a statewide Level III grievance today against the CSU regarding violations of the furlough side letter. The grievance is filed on behalf of All CSUEU Represented Employees
and lists Phillip Coonley himself as the union representative for the case.
The grievance form states:
The campus plans being issued to our members relative to the furlough program state that employees may not take more than one furlough day in a work-week nor more than two furlough days in a month. Neither of these limitations are reflected in the agreement.
The remedy sought is for the CSU to correct the violating furlough plans, and comply with the agreement.
